The axe drops again

The axe drops again

Yet again, the Russian’s axe fell, and yet again, another manager bites the dust while another replaced him. It all seems too familiar for Chelsea fans now.

The last nine years have seen nine different managers take over and relinquish the helm, with the latest being Rafa.

Benitez is no stranger to Chelsea as time and again, he managed to put one over his current employers while at Liverpool.

However, the unforgiving nature of the fans need to end. Making his debut in the Stamford Bridge home dug-out, he had already been axed in the eyes of many fans. “Rafa Out” read many banners, as ill chants carried on. Surely, that wasn’t what he signed up for.

Also scary is the power of the players within the dressing room. It is claimed that John Terry has a hotline to Abrahamovic; that he uses it almost at will. Many a times, he is more vocal then the coach! His egoistic nature splits the dressing room, while compromising the coach’s power.

This baby-esque behaviour within the dressing room must stop if Chelsea want to build on last year’s success. They must allow jobs to be carried out freely, and not hinder the flow of instructions.

For the umpteenth time, it is disgusting to see such behaviour from grass root levels to the board members- an utter joke of soccer.
